Ohio's Schools Will Remain Closed
Until At Least the End of the 2019-20 School Year

Gov. Mike DeWine announced
April 20th that Ohio’s K-12 schools will remain closed through end of this school year.

Please see below for a short message from your Jefferson food service department:

Good Afternoon  Falcon Families,

Lunches are available for all 18 years of age and under within our area.

Starting this Tuesday and Thursday we will be including one item in our lunch bag that will need to be reheated  and or  refrigerated as needed.

The following week we will start our "HOT TUESDAY" lunches where we will be  putting together lunch bags that contain some HOT ITEMS and our students favorite lunch combos.  Our goal at this time is to ensure that we give our students a variety of the meals as if they were still eating with us  in the cafeteria.  Reheat items  as needed in the microwave and store in the refrigerator until eaten.  Please remove the foil wrap from the sandwiches before placing in the microwave.

We miss seeing our students' smiling faces 😁... Stay safe everyone.

Meals are available to anyone 18 years of age and  and under
in the Jefferson Area Local School District
Meals are Free

Distribution Schedule Through the End of the School Year
Tuesday and  Thursday
11:00 am - 1:00 pm

We have had a few parents contact us with concerns
that they are unable, due to work or other issues, pick up
meals during the scheduled times:

If you are unable to pick up meals
you can reach out via email or phone to:

Erin Valenti
She will be working with Volunteers to make deliveries.

Meals can be picked up by other family members,
sitters, friends, etc. Parents do not have to come in person
People picking up meals only must give their
name and the names of the students for whom they
are taking meals to receive them.
  • Meals can be picked up at each of our buildings
  • Parents, grandparents or other caregivers can pick up the meals
  • Individuals picking up meals must provide the names of the students for whom the meals are being picked up
  • Meals will be distributed in multi-day portions
  • We are asking that you pull up to the front door of each building where we will service one pick-up at a time
  • Please remain in your car until the person ahead of you is back in their car
  • The meals will be located inside the front door
  • If you have students at multiple buildings, you can pick up all the meals at any of their buildings
