Full Time Learning at Home for Parents Who Want This Option

We realize that some parents may not want to have their child return to school in the fall because of the Covid 19 virus.

We have in place a Stay at Home learning option for students next year.

Our at home learning program will allow students to continue their education at home using a curriculum that can be accessed online.  THIS IS A SELF-GUIDED PLATFORMStudents using this option remain a Jefferson Area Local Schools Student. In addition to the curriculum, which can be accessed anytime, students and parents will receive support from Jefferson Teachers.

Registration is now open for the Jefferson Learn at Home option.

In order to staff this program we need to know now how many students will be using this option.

All students enrolled will be able to use a school Chromebook.

To sign up, parents must complete the Learning at Home registration form.

If you have questions please call the Superintendent’s office at 440-576-9180.

Pathblazer is a personalized intervention program that provides supplemental online instruction with fun, motivating content that builds foundational skills in math and ELA. Using existing student data or results from a screener and pretest, Pathblazer immediately identifies where students are struggling and provides the targeted instruction they need to close early learning gaps.

The enjoyable instruction in math and reading helps educators engage students, keep their attention, and accelerate them to grade level. And the data that Pathblazer collects as students complete their work gives teachers the power to monitor learning and maximize results.

PINPOINT GAPS Students begin with an adaptive screener to determine functional level, and then take a diagnostic pretest at that level to pinpoint skill gaps. Or, schools can import existing student data from one of our assessment integration partners to create prescriptive learning paths with no additional testing. PERSONALIZE INSTRUCTION Each student is provided with an individualized learning path designed to fill gaps and accelerate them to on-level mastery.
All lessons are built around a gradual-release instructional model of explicit instruction, supported practice,
independent practice, and assessment. PERSONALIZE INSTRUCTION Each student is provided with an individualized learning path designed to fill gaps and accelerate them to on-level mastery.
