Hello, this is John Montanaro superintendent of the JALSD.

I apologize for the short notice, but we were offered the opportunity to have a vaccination clinic for students ages 5-18 on this Friday, December 3rd.

As a result, there will be no school for all Jefferson Area Local School Students on Friday.

The health department will hold the clinic in the Jefferson Elementary School Gymnasium from 12:30 to 2:00 and the Pfizer vaccine given. There is no need to register, but students must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult over the age of 18 with a signed note from a parent stating that they would like their child to be vaccinated.

Again there will be no school for students on Friday December 3rd. All staff will report and all activities will take place including the basketball game.
