Latchkey is a program offered by the Ashtabula County Educational Service Center that is provided at Jefferson Elementary and Rock Creek Elementary on days that school is in session from 6:30 to 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. (Shuttle may also be available to and from Rock Creek Elementary from Jefferson Elementary. The bus leaves for Rock Creek around 8:05 and brings back to Jefferson around 4:45 pm.)

Breakfast may be purchased through the school if needed, and parents are required to send an afternoon snack that meets nutritional guidelines. On 2 hour delay days, we will operate on a delay as well opening at 8:30 am. (No breakfast is available on these days.) The center is closed on all days that school is not in session.

Our primary space is in the school library in both buildings. There is an annual registration and supply fee of $25.00 per family and the rate for care is $3.00 per hour. There is a minimum charge of 1 hour per session (AM/PM). Discounted rates for additional children may apply. Children must be registered in order to attend and spaces are limited.
