ParentSquare for Staff
ParentSquare is a unified communication platform that offers a wide variety of tools which allow administrators and teachers to more effectively communicate and engage with families and students.
Accessing ParentSquare
All staff members are connected to ParentSquare through their JALSD email accounts.
To get started:
- Visit the ParentSquare website.
- Click the "Sign in with Google" button
- Use your JALSD Google account
Note: you can also access ParentSquare from the waffle menu when you're signed in to your Google account.
Once you're signed in:
- Access the Training Resources for Teachers page.
There are a series of short videos here that will introduce you to the ParentSquare platform. - Edit Your Account by adding your phone number so you can receive notifications from the District.
You can also customize your notification preferences here as well.
The ParentSquare Mobile App is not required but highly recommended.
You will receive notifications from JALSD even if you do not download the ParentSquare app.
