Transportation alerts using Remind

The JALSD continues to experience a shortage of bus drivers.  This sometimes results in buses having to cover more than a single route which impacts the time your bus will pick up students in the morning or drop them off after school.

The transportation Department uses the  Remind notification system to inform parents of these changes anytime they occur. 

Parents/Students must sign up for the Remind notifications if they want to follow their bus status.

You will need to know the student's bus number to know which alerts to sign up for. 

Step 1

Getting started is simple: just download the Remind app by

scanning the QR code below, going to https://www.remind.com/ or searching Remind in your App Store. 

If you don’t have a smartphone (or don't want to download the app):

Text one of the following (based on your student's bus number) to 81010 (or 484-241-4261).
