Today is a sad day for our district and it pains me to share that a member of our transportation department unexpectedly passed away this afternoon. This is a difficult and emotional time for our school community.

In order to give our staff the time they need to heal and support one another, there will be no school for students Tuesday, November 25th and Wednesday, November 26th.

This Transportation cancellation will also be in effect for students who attend: 

St. John, A-Tech, Happy Hearts, Building Bridges, or any other school related transportation. There will be no Jefferson transportation the next two days.  

The district will have counseling services available for any student or staff member in need of support. Please send your contact information to guidance@jalsd.org.

We appreciate your understanding and support during this sad time for our district.
